Description of Service

Jeannie is a Personal Assistant (PA) for tennis players. Players inform Jeannie when they are available to play tennis and Jeannie arranges social or tournament matches with suitable opponents.

Jeannie Ltd operates “Closed” websites on behalf of clubs where access to the website is restricted to paid up club members. Jeannie also operates “Virtual” websites which are open to all players.

The Jeannie automated workflows make it easy to organise matches. Players can also send and receive messages for the purposes of arranging tennis matches.

To properly use the Services, you must have access to the Internet.

We may from time to time be required to suspend the Services without notice for repair, maintenance, improvement or other technical reason. Although we endeavour to provide a reliable Service, we do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted or error-free or will achieve particular results.

We reserve the right to:

1. refuse any person the right to register as a player or to use the Services; and
2. deactivate players who have not used the Website or Services for 6 months or more.

Content posted on Website

Players are solely responsible for the content they post onto the Website in the form of messages to other players.

Jeannie Limited’s support team is able to view the content of messages between players to monitor fair use of the system and to settle disputes between players. We are also able to check if messages have been received and opened in the event that there are disputes between players.

Jeannie Limited reserves the right to review and delete any content or messages that, in the sole judgment of Jeannie Limited, is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, obscene, offensive or racially objectionable and all such content is strictly prohibited. We may deactivate at our sole discretion any player that posts prohibited content via the Website or Services.

Jeannie Limited does not accept any liability resulting from inaccurate content, delays, omissions or deletion of content.

Acceptable Use Policy

The Website is provided for the personal use of registered players.

You may only use the Website and Services to organise Jeannie matches in accordance with the descriptions contained on the Website and for no other purpose whatsoever.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any access to our Website or Services by any person, organisation or business in the event that we have reasonable grounds for suspicion that such person, organisation or business is in breach of these Terms and Conditions and/or our Privacy Policy. A breach shall include the following activities, which are strictly prohibited:

1. using the Website for any commercial purposes;
2. using the Website or Services to develop similar or competing tennis services;
3. collecting players’ personal information or contact information;
4. diverting players to other websites; and
5. promoting, advertising or marketing any other services or products without our prior written approval.

Tournaments

In the event that you register to take part in a tournament, your contact details will be revealed to your direct opponents for the duration of the tournament.

Find-a-Partner

The Find-a-Partner Service enables you to search for potential partner players by name or by profile. The profile search is based on club rating and age-band. Consequently, if your club subscribes to the Find-a-Partner Service your club rating and age range will be made available to other club members. You do have the option not to use the Find-a-Partner Service in which case none of your details are revealed to other club members.

If you subscribe to another member's Partner Play List the member will have full access to your contact details.

The Find-a-Partner service is not available on Tennis Jeannie Junior websites.

Information Access

You may access, review and modify your own personal information held on the Website by logging on and clicking “My Account”. You are required to keep your personal information updated and accurate in order that we may provide the Services to you.

Updates

Jeannie Limited reserves the right to update and modify this set of Terms and Conditions. Should there be a material change in the Terms and Conditions a prominent notice will be posted to the Website.

By continuing to use the Services it will be assumed that you have read and accept any changes in the Terms and Conditions.
